Well, I dont know why, but the dogs actually slept well past their normal wake up time of 6.30-7.00am this morning. They didn't wake up until 9.30am. I could do with finding out why. I would love to be able to sleep that late a few mornings a week!
Finally managed to start breaking up the old fence panels that we had to replace. It had been raining too much before, but it was dry(ish) this morning so I had fun jumping on the old panels and seperating all the broken bits from the frames. A couple of the lengths seem to be okay, so we will keep those for repairing the little fence round the storage area at the bottom of the yard. I need to have that enclosed because of puppies trying to get in there, and there is some stuff they could hurt themselves on. I know I dont have pups right now, but I hhave to think forward. If I allow myself to focus totaaly on today I wouldn't get anything done.
Shunya is shedding her coat. I have never had a shepherd who shed as much hair as she is doing. It is hanging off her in strings. Even when I have just brushed her. Her undercoat isa gorgeous shade of wolf grey!! And her eyes are still very light. I think she really is going to stay a very light colour. Her black overcoat is spreading, but her light parts are not darkening up at all. And she gets prettier each day. She has the most comical expressions on her face sometimes. I like the one where she is trying to figure out what to do next. She almost goes cross-eyed when she really concentrates.
Clives birthday soon. I need to get around to making him a card. But I cant get him out of the way long enough for me to do it! He seems to be close to me all the time. Oh well.
Enough of boring you all. I'm going to make myself a cup of apple tea, and get around to reading some blogs. Take care.
