If only I had some sort of life to live, instead of this boring, dreary, same old, same old that I have. I need some fun in my life. I need laughter. I get some from the blogs and emails my internet friends send me, but I need some in my real life.
When we moved into this house nearly four years ago, the window in the back of the house was in danger of falling out. The frame was rotten. We told the landlord and he said he would get it done. He did. TODAY!! I finally have a brand new, double glazed window at the back of my house. AND I can see through it too!!It has reduced the draughts and the house is already warmer. It looks so much better too. No more worrying about whether the kids, grandkids, or dogs are going to knock the window out.
I think I need to dye my hair. I noticed today how grey I am going. I don't feel old enough to be going grey. I need to dye my hair. Well, just cover up the grey. But there is a lot of grey to cover. I have never dyed my hair before. I don't know how difficult it will be. Knowing my luck, I will end up with bright orange hair. At least it will be the right colour for supporting Tony!!
I know what you mean about needing a life to live. I hate just sitting here day in and day out. I gave up on covering my grey. However, it is easy to do, covering it I mean. I should cover mine, maybe I would feel better. I am losing it so fast I don't know if it matters, lol. Love the look of the blog. Denise does such a good job on them. Take care and God bless.
ReplyDeletewell im 62 so my gray hair is not surprising..but it i really don't have a lot of it..and actually take great pride in each and every gray hair...this one is for the time thom stole the jeep and knocked the side tire off.this is for the one for the time david wrecked his car, this is the one from when maryjo dove into a swimming pool and put a 7 inch gash in her forehead...so no dye for me...hahah
ReplyDeleteCool about the window!!! Or actually warm! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteOrange hair to support Tony!! hahaha! You're so funny. With your color of hair though, people don't notice the gray as much as those with darker hair. You may notice it, but others don't. So, just think about it for awhile before you do it. Also, with long hair, sometimes you need 2 boxes to cover it. I don't color mine anymore, but at one time, I had flaming red hair. It was beautiful deep dark red. Loved it. Pain in the ass to keep up with though.
My daughter puts the dye in my hair. My hair used to be almost to my waist but I cut it last year and it's about shoulder length. So I only need one box of dye now, lol. Would this be your first time for colour? If you are like me money is scarce but with the length of your hair (I'm assuming it is blonde or light brown? I'd look into a hairdresser to do it the first time and have her show you tips and the colour you are looking for...I started about 20 years ago with Loving care (temporary, lasts 6-12 washings) and in the 90's I did the highlighting thing, then the red thing for quite a few years. I love red hair but the colour is very hard to keep. My hair is dark brown originally but dark-brown hairdye looks way too dark on me, so I use light brown now and my hair comes out a nice medium colour. Well that's my long hair story, now I'll give your blog back to you,lol..whatever you do, I'm sure it will work out just fine....
ReplyDeleteI have red hair and try to cover that crap up along with the grey. Ha. I can't wear dark hair so I keep experimenting and I am sure my hair will fall out soon. It turned an orangy color last time. I am trying a little bit darker brown this time, but no matter what color I use my grey shows back up in a couple weeks.
